deWintons had the great privilege of working at the Royal Windsor Horse Show last week, Dubai, Bahrain, Great Britain, France & many other countries took part in the first ever Endurance race at the show, lets hope this is the start of a happy partnership between the Horse show and Endurance racing.

We have worked for the Dubai Royal family for the last five years and have built up an excellent relationship with their team. The horses ride 4 loops, covering 120Km in total, not only did the first ever riders of the Royal Windsor Horse show endurance ride have the pleasure of riding through Windsor Great Park but they also got to do a circuit of the National Hunt section of Royal Ascot, a thrilling ride was had by all.  It was won by UAE but Great Britain managed 3rd place with  20 year old Dace Sainsburys, all very exciting especially as Her Majesty the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Duchess of Cornwall were there to watch the finish, in our tent on the finish line.  She didn’t have any tea or cakes but spent half an hour in our tent watching the horses come and go.

The King of Bahrain was also there, he turned up to watch his sons ride and then enjoyed the full delights of deWintons food and service what a truly amazing day for deWintons serving so many head’s of States, we feel very honoured.
