deWintons working hard at the Dubai World Cup

Team deWintons headed up with big boss, James Symington, flew to Dubai for a hard week of work setting up their hospitality suites before the big day on Saturday 29th March.  James took with him his most trusted team from London to continue building on our relationship with the Meydan Racing team.  James was there to manage the smooth running of the big day, where they key sponsors for the Dubai World Cup were Emirates and Dubai Duty Free.

Gemma Banks, our senior event planner, was in charge of our team of duty managers to ensure a seamless night at the Launch party for the Dubai World Cup, on Thursday 27th March.  The team managed 1,200 guests on the beach, under the stars in the presence of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ruler of Dubai.   It was a glamorous evening of music, dancing and the most magnificent fireworks.

Our executive chef, Cris Macis, assisted their vast brigade  of chefs, in their huge kitchens, which took 10 minutes to walk from one end of the kitchen to the other, a lot of tired legs after a week of running back and forwards between oven and fridges.

Don’t feel too sorry for them though as just look at the weather.
